It’s not everyday you get to do your own sister’s pre-wedding shoot, so I was very honored when my sister and her fiance asked me to do theirs with them. Of course it couldn’t be just any ordinary shoot we had to make it a little interesting.
There’s a shoot I’ve been wanting to do for a while, themed around the festival of colors which is held every year all over the world… and who better to try it on than with my own sister (cue evil laughing). We started with a few classical shots in the field behind our house as we wanted some variety to the shoot, before heading to an abandoned shed that Danny had discovered one day while out walking.
I definitely learned a lot about the best way to use the holi powder. For example near the beginning of the shoot Amy took a direct hit to the face which meant she was pink for the rest of the shoot lol. We had a lot of fun doing this one guys. Watch this space for more images of the wedding of Amy and Danny, coming soon to the blog. Also I always create a slideshow of the images for every engagement or wedding, see Amy and Danny’s photos set to music here, Slideshow
