It’s finally here! I’ve been looking forward to sharing these images with you all as this was my first ever destination wedding and a big learning curve for me. I’ve come to realised that I have a bit of OCD when it comes to my equipment. I like to have everything with me just in case, so deciding what to leave behind was a challenge.
Tyler and Noemí’s wedding was a little different than the traditional English weddings, the ceremony was scheduled to take place late afternoon with the meal immediately after. This meant we had to do the bride and groom portraits before the ceremony as well as a ‘first look’. Noemí had her hair and makeup done at a local salon before finishing off her final preparations at her parents house. They’d chosen to do their ‘first look’ at Plaza España, one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever photographed. In-fact Plaza España was the location used as Padme’s Palace in one of the ‘Star wars’ films (Yeah that amazing lol).
They had a beautiful outdoor wedding surrounded by the trees and hills of the Spanish countryside. Guests sat in a little seated area shaded by the trees or on nearby grass banks. The weather stayed nice for us most of the day with it only starting to rain once the ceremony had finished (it’s as if it knew lol). Unlike English weddings, Spanish weddings generally have no speeches but instead focus more on good food and good music; and as you can see by the photos, they love to party. A special thank you to Noemí and Tyler for giving me the opportunity to have such a wonderful experience. I got the chance to mix my passion for traveling with my passion for photography and made some great memories at the same time. I hope you enjoy your photos.
