Emma + Peter Farm Wedding in Middlewich Cheshire

Emma and Peter had a vintage farm wedding set in the quiet countryside of Cheshire. Emma and her bridesmaids got ready at her parents house and Peter and his ushers at his Parents farm. They got married at St Oswalds Church in Knutsford surround by friends and family, some of whom gave readings and poems about marriage and both the blessings and challenges it brings. It had been raining earlier that morning, but as everyone exited the church they were greeted by the warm sun and perfect mingling weather.

We all then headed on to Peter’s parents farm and to the marque they had prepared. The beautiful flowers you see in all the photos were created by Emma herself, quite the talented bride eh? Next to the marque there was a field and trees that had been fenced off for the horses to run around in. There was one particular moment that I felt quite privileged to be a part of, when Emma’s horse (which she’d raised from being a foal) came to greet her. Those who have horses will understand how important it was to Emma to have them as part of her wedding.

Everyone then sat and ate a lovely three course meal that had been prepared, and we can confirm it tasted very nice ;).  The speeches were flawless and Peter did great with his speech and didn’t seem nervous at all. I find I get the best shots of the speeches the nearer I am to the head table, this really makes the photos feel like you were right there. Then was the first dance and cake cutting, followed by crazy dancing and singing to some great songs. Videographers Zac and Olivia of Tea4twofilms worked along with us for the day and are always a pleasure to work with. You can check out their video of the day here.
